Throughout this whole process, we have been talking about something essential: your internal state is not random. It is built from what you think, what you feel… and also from the stimuli you consume.
And this is where something often overlooked comes in: sound.
Not only what you listen to for pleasure.
But what is directly influencing your brain.
Because yes, your mind responds to frequencies. And when you understand this, you can start using them in your favor.

Your brain works in different states
The brain is not always the same. It constantly changes depending on what you do, how you feel, and the environment you are in.
And these states can be measured in frequencies, in hertz (Hz).
Each frequency range is associated with a way of thinking, feeling, and acting.
That is why there are moments when you are more focused, others more creative, others more tired… and others when you simply cannot stop your mind.
It is not random.
It is chemistry.
It is electricity.
And it is also frequency.
Beta waves: alertness, action and overstimulation
Beta waves are the fastest. They are present when you are active, thinking, solving, reacting. They are necessary. They help you focus, make decisions, and move through your day. But there is an important detail.
When you spend too much time in high beta, the body enters tension.
Rush appears.
Irritation.
The feeling of always being “on”.
It is the typical state of a day full of stress, notifications, pressure, and constant multitasking. It is not that it is bad. The problem is staying there all the time.
Alpha waves: balance, focus and creativity
Alpha waves appear when you slow down without fully disconnecting.
You are still present.
But calmer.
It is that state where you are focused, but without tension. Where ideas flow better, where you can create, learn, or train with a lighter feeling.
Here the nervous system starts to regulate.
You are not in constant alert.
But you are not asleep either.
In many ways, it is one of the most useful states for daily life.
Theta waves: depth, intuition and inner connection
When the brain enters theta waves, the state changes. Here you are no longer focused on the outside. You begin to go inward.
This is the type of frequency that appears in the early stages of sleep or in deep meditation.
Time feels different.
The mind becomes more visual.
Ideas, memories, or connections can appear that you normally do not see.
Many people use this state for self-awareness or to access deeper processes. But it also has a curious effect.
If your mind is not trained, it can keep “working” in this state, generating activity even when the body should be resting.
Delta waves: deep rest and regeneration
Delta waves are the slowest. They appear in deep sleep, when the body truly recovers. There is no active thinking here.
No analysis.
There is repair.
The nervous system regenerates.
The body rebalances.
Energy is restored.
It is a state that is difficult to reach consciously, but absolutely necessary.
Because without this level of rest, everything else is affected: your energy, your mental clarity, and your emotional state.
How to use frequencies in your favor
All of this is not just theory. You can apply it. Today you have access to different types of sounds and frequencies that can help you enter these states more easily.
At first they may feel strange.
They are not traditional music.
They are not melodies you know.
But they are designed to create a response in your brain. You can use them depending on what you need:
– for working or studying → states closer to beta or alpha
– for focused calm → alpha
– for meditation or depth → theta
– for deep rest → delta
It is not about depending on them.
It is about understanding them.
Because just like you choose what you eat…
you can also choose what you “feed” your mind.
Integrating this into your day changes more than you think
Many times you try to change how you feel by changing everything you do.
But there is a more direct way: change the state from which you do it. And frequencies are one more tool for that.
They do not replace inner work.
They do not replace awareness.
But they help create the right environment for that change to happen.
Final reflection
Your mind does not work randomly. It responds to patterns. To states that you can begin to recognize.
And when you start observing which frequency you are living in most of the time… you begin to understand many things.
Why it is hard to focus.
Why sometimes you do not rest well.
Why other times everything flows.
The key is not to control everything. It is to learn how to move between states with more awareness.
Because from there… everything you do changes.
